Dogs;
From time to time we receive a letter from an active member of the armed forces. While I cannot share the entire memo I have pulled some excepts that depict what our service men are facing.
“ Sir, I recently received a Regulator knife and I wanted to say thank you...it is good to see that folks like yourself strongly support our efforts and the job we have to do. The knife will always remind me of the date xx/xx/xxxx and the 10 hour firefight that we were engaged in..... We fought all the way and many fellow brothers were wounded, but they continued to fight without regard to their own safety or their injuries. In three trips to the Middle East, this is the worst I have ever seen. Everyone fought bravely. At times we were pinned down by accurate sniper fire, mortars, direct small arm fire along with machine gun fire. We went toe to toe with the enemy who had surrounded us on three sides....Not one man quit and they found their strength in each other to fight a force well over 100....All the men will recover from their wounds and will be fine in due time....When I return home this knife will be displayed on a self with my Yarborough to serve as a memory of that day.....Very Respectfully Yours, S.F. Member”
I cannot express the honor that I feel nor the gratitude that I have for each of our enlisted members. I raise my glass and encourage you to do the same and salute all those that are willing to give all for our freedom. This also goes for all those that came before. Take pride as I do and admire the men and women who create the meaning of honor and demonstrate the epitome of respect.
Dan

That is indeed a tribute to the Regulator. Those Special Forces are among the bravest of the brave. Here's to them.
Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

I know that your business is your business so I thank you for sharing this with us. It made my day to read it and be reminded of the sacrifice our soldiers make.
Thank you Big Dog and thank you to those who serve!

No matter how bad my day in the office is, no one will ever die. I feel humbled when I remember that these brave men and women lay their lives on the line for us every day.

Dan, thanks for sharing this letter. I know that these little "reminders" do make it all worth while. Thanks for taking care of our boys!

Dan,
Thank you very much for sharing this with us. Your gratitude & support for our men / women in arms simply warms my heart. It's business folks like yourself that win the hearts of boring old spoiled Americans like myself....and make us such dedicated customers to you and the Yard.
