By request, im going to tell you guys about my neighbors who got busted about a year ago or so.


This south american couple moved in a few years ago, poured like, idk 70K into the house which i think they paid like 400K (at the time- property values have dropped alot since then...as you guys already know lol). All marble floors through out the house, new everything, kenmore everything, you get the idea.

BMW X5 in the driveway, Mercedes i forgot what (the SUV but not the shoebox)

What always had me confused was that these people were ALWAYS home. they never like left for work...you know? they were just always there. i guess it was a possibility that they were working from home but it just seemed unlikely.

Neither spoke english at a level that would be able to propel them in the business world.

i digress...


So one night, (im talking like 3am) im playing on the computer or w.e and i see emergency strobes outside. there like 9 vehicles- a bunch of squad cars, an ambulance and a firtruck (idk why the firetruck was there, maybe they were bored). I see the man with bandages over his head and i guess his wife was inside.

My parents or neighbor knows some of the local LEO and found out the following day that their home was apparently invaded while they were sleeping, but there were no signs of forced entry, so they had to have been let in. Both were bound and gagged, and the husband had been pistol-whipped.

what was even weirder is that the peopl who came in had opened holes all over the walls of the house- apparently looking for something.


after that incident the couple moved away and a few weeks pass by and thanksgiving rolls around. That night at around 2am i see a hummer H2 park in front of my house (diagonally so that the headlights are actually facing the now-abandoned house).

I see two armed men get out of the hummer and walk over to the neighbors house. I recognized one of them- it was the guy that used to live there. i didnt recognize the other male, but i did recognize the hummer.

I of course call the police but they never arrived on time. anyway.

I see them remove a large object (looked almost like a table or painting) that was covered with a black trash bag. two of these were brought out into the hummer. both men got in then drove away.

Police arrive a couple of minutes after they left (literally like 2 min)


blah blah blah, nothing happens for over a year.

i dont know the details behind the home invasion but the same guy turned up in the newspaper. He had been busted for medicare fraud.

3 million. that could definitely explain the cars, and home improvements.

nothing ever came up explaining who they were dealing with but my guess is probably drugs, guns or some sort of money laundering.

woah thats wild man. i remember when we lived in Montclair we had a drug/whore house as our neighbors across the street. saw a lot of crazy stuff happen. then 10 years later we moved to Ontario and guess who followed us??? yup the same people that were running the drug/whore house in Montclair!!! the last night we stayed at our house in Ontario before we moved to Highland someone was shot there cause they were gonna testify in court.

wth the same people followed you?!

what are the chances of that happening...

yah i know right??? i was like are you serious??? had to deal with them for another 5 years before we moved again.

I guess the stalking got old!

Man, no matter the neighborhood there will be the ones that cause problems.

there have been a few drug busts in the house across the street here, too.

My neighbors are always home and NEVER cut their grass. Talk about neighbors from hell.

Crazy story Sno, glad they busted him. It's a crazy world we live in isnt it?

That's hardcore SP, I was going to tell you guys about the people across the street that always have parties on the weekends, but now I cant really complain.

That, and half the time I'm over there partying with em! no trouble though. I'm actually living in a fairly decent neighborhood. hasn't been a police car through here in probably 2 years that I remember.

I always love hearing crazy, unlikely stories like these (not knocking you, I believe you 100%), simply because it reminds me how insane this world is <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

I guess I did not live in the nicest apartment complex in Springfield OR. It was on the news one week for bullet holes shot into the parking lot. Two weeks later there was a murder at the mall across the street. A few months later I was awakened to gun shots and yelling and then someone running past my back window (all of 5' from me). This is when I got my CCW permit. Saved up money to move. The month me moved the building next to ours was shut down and sealed with crime scene tape (I do not remember for how long). My best guess someone was running a meth lab in it.
