I have a dilemma. I have some money burning a hole in my pocket. There's a couple DF's for sale that I'm thinking about getting. I would hate to spend my money on the DF and then the DFLE comes out 2 days later before I can replish my funds. Should I wait or get another DF? How close do you guys think Mr. Busse is to releasing the DFLE. What would John Wayne do? HMMM.

Wait for the LE. The regular DF's will come around again and is in the standard line up. The LE's will only be offered once I believe and then they are gone.

No one really knows how long before the DFLE is officially released, other than Dan and Patti. i am waiting patiently on it or is it impatiently... Anyways one thing to consider: the LE is going to be a one time thing, the CGDF will be back. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Well, I dunno what John Wayne would do, but I can tell ya what Andy Wayne would do…wait for the LE! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> CGs will come and go, but LE is only once. It will make it more special, and it will look so much cooler with the logo! And I dunno about you, but I plan on keeping mine forever, so something I’ll keep and use that long is worth a couple more bucks for the LE. I’ve been waiting for the LEs since the first batch of CGs came out. If I can wait this long, so can you. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> But I dunno what other knives you have, so it might make the wait a little harder. I have a Battle Rat already, so the wait isn’t quite so hard as if I had no larger res-c chopper. It will be worth the wait. Also, if you’re buying on the secondary market, you’re probably paying a lot more. For the price some of those CGs have been selling for, you could probably get an LE from the factory!

I have to go with Andy on this one...for the prices the DF is commanding on the secondary market, I'd rather just go ahead and get the LE version. I own no safe queens, I just can't afford to pay for things just to have it sitting around just lookin pretty (except the wife of course!). So mine will just be a real nice looking user, and again like Andy, I have no desire to ever sell.
