I wanted to know if individuals are allowed to bring knives(about 6) into the cobb center. I wanted to bring a few to maby trade/sell or compare with others. I dont want to wait in a 2 hour line to get searched either. Any of the blade vets that can offer insight would be appreciated.

yes based on my experience. I've brought some in before and have not been searched. I don't think they want dealers, but I think a small number is ok. I'd use a backpack or some other means of keeping your hands free for buying while inside, though. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Any ideas on how long it takes to get in once the doors open? Can you pay for your ticket prior to the open?

I can only be there for about an hour and want to make sure I can get in and get some steel before having to head for the airport.

If you have a vip Pass you have to stand in line and get your blade pass then get in line for the show which opens at 12. If no pass you stand in that same line to buy a regular ticket and get in at 2.
Backpacks and manpurses will be in abundance full of who knows what. Never been through security check yet.

I have a VIP pass. At previous shows, how quickly has the line moved? Will it be 10 mins or 30 mins wait?

If you want to get in at 12 get there at 10 to 10:30. The line to get your badge takes the longest. There will be several hundred people in line when the door opens and it moves very fast. If you want to be 1st in line there will be a bunch of Hogs there at 8:00

I have a client meet from 10 - 11 and then will be driving over from Buckehead which is probably about 20 mins away. I guess I am going to have to deal with the a little wait if I get there at 11:30.

Well...looks like I will have at least 15-20 mins (gulp) at the show. So I can take on a limited number of proxies as I have a single roll-on bag for the trip home so can't fit that many blades .
