It really is a good deal, I think most of us are jaded with pricing. I would like to see some stats. Give me at least the length. Speaking strictly for myself, I'm not jaded with pricing. The whole reason I'm here is because of pricing . . . and quality, of course. While the Scrapizashi may be a good deal, the B11 is an INSANE deal. And if I had a spare $250.00 or so to spend right now, I wouldn't have to think twice about which one to get. right on Bruce.

just got a call from my proxie, the price is a confirmed 270$. That is not too bad. I need the specs first. I love me a sword and there is no way I will be able to get a gladius. I pushed it with my waki.

I have to sit this one out. It's not that it's not worth it...but as a 3rd priority to other blades in the price-range, I can't justify it right now.
I can't wait to hear people's thoughts on the grips, and start getting some feedback on specs. I'll have to live vicariously through those Dogs lucky enough to get a ScrapiZashi! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/sad.gif" alt="" />

I think I'll sit this one out too.....if it had a big comfy Res C handle like the Regulator I might bite. That being said, if reports come back that the cord wrapped handle is super comfy I may reconsider.
The BK-11...if that goes to store at that price I'm all over it.

I got a call from Jeff -- he got some very good stuff for me, including putting me down for a Busse Combat Gladius (custom shop satin, with green linen handles) and three ScrapZashi pre-orders (I think he said black, orange and yellow on the SZ handles), plus a black Basic 11, a new model khukri (green with tan hand shaped handles), and a tan Dog Father (to replace one that I traded recently).
The gladius will take me well over what I expected to spend, but the "first day" show special price of $997 overcame all budgetary concerns. It costs less than a MOAB, but I like it a lot more -- who says knives have to be practical? It'll be my new flagship blade.

I had to run in and get out of the show in an hour so didn't have too much time to get all the details. I didn't measure the length but it was shorter and felt heavier than I expected.
The handles are nice and full in the hand.
Confirming JRod's post that it is SR77.
Put my name down for two with the black handles.

Not too much else on offer from SY at the show. DFs; Son of DFs; Double cut Team Regs and DMs. No Satin blades/LEs. I may have missed stuff but I got in pretty sharply.

Saw a couple of MOABs but they went pretty quickly.
