A khuk is the one thing I feel I'm truly missing. Technical but well designed, and a lot of history behind it.

I like this design best. I think you could cut two out of one thing of steel. Just have the blades facing one another going the opposite direction. ![[Linked Image from survivalprimer.com]](http://www.survivalprimer.com/KukriService/929.jpg)

dont take this the wrong way, but im pretty sure dan already though about that
im sure they lay out the designs to get as much as they can out of every square inch of steel, my guess is that the amount of leftover would still be too great otherwise he wouldnt have said there would be too much wasted metal, driving cost up

Just wishful thinking on my part. I do like the idea of smaller blades with the scraps. If it is a cost issue, I think there are enough dogs that would buy it at a higher price like the Scrapizashi. Maybe make it a LE. What do you think Dan?

That might be a possibility. with regards to what was said about them waiting because of the Killa IF they did make one...well. look at the waki and the scrapizashi <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/loopy.gif" alt="" />

SYKCO JYD#112 It's better to have it & not need it, than to need it & not have it.

Still want a Res-c handled scrapizashi!!! Yeah, that's my thought as well. If the ideal is long and light, then the Scrapizashi is right on track. Yes, the leather wrap looks fantastic, and I'm sure that it's better than G-10, but it will be very hard to match the comfort and durability of Res-C.

And Yes, I would buy a Scrapyard Khukuri in a heartbeat.
Preferably .33" thick and 12" long.

Dan mentioned that they tried res-c. but that the grip was so long that it was twisting. (I think he said that, I was sipping on some sweet tea at the time)
