No promises, but I'll try and use the winner as long as it is okay with the wife and Dr.

S5LE and make sure it is sharp. I wish someone told me how hard it was going to be to get through. I tried, then had to really bear down on the scissors to get it cut.

There isn't much room to work with and you got some squirming folks around. Gonna have to be a smaller blade.

Yeah, I keep trying to imagine a big blade in the chaotic environment. Not a good thing unless I want to name my next kid Scar.

I'm with Joe on this, but on a similar topic, make sure you don't clamp that umbilical cord too soon.

Yes - go with Seth's recommendation. You may want to think about a cutting block.

S5Le,gotta go small.
One of the 154 CM knives would be better though,WD,BD or MP.Or a Harry Carry.
When is the little one due?

I think limiting blade size to, say, 4" would be best. Isn't the bird dog about that size?

Whatever you use, it had better be freakishly sharp. Not just shaving, work on your tree topping edge before you even think of trying to cut squishy living tissue.
