Hi...I'm new but have been lurking since last winter and after ordering my first SYK back in March and receiving it today I just had to register today WOW!! I mean I know about waits and if they are worth it as I built my first AR15 right after Obama got elected (4 months for an upper, 2 months for optics)and believe me the Regulator was worth the wait.
Anyhow, I live in Maryland like to play golf, drink micro brews, smoke cigars, collect (and drink) small batch bourbons, bbq a bit, target shoot when I get the chance and I guess collect knives. I say I guess because I never thought about it too much, just buy what catches my eye. I own mostly folders (about 15 or so), Emerson, Benchmade, Kershaw, Spyderco, etc. but just recently got into fixed after getting a couple KBars and a ESSE Izula the past year or so. I had been looking @ SY for about a year and made the noobie mistake of thinking the "gallery" knives were for sale. So I peeked in once in awhile and finally started lurking around December just knowing a new and available purchase would be coming up soon. I'm glad I did.
