A number of years back my dad picked up a custom trike powered by a VW motor. The VW motor started to have issues so I suggested that he put a 231ci V6 in it. He had a rebuilt one ready to go out back for an old jeep he no longer had. Well I got the call saying lets do it. We started last November and just finished earlier this month. I did the frame fab work and he did the rest with a little help along the way.

what it looked like when he first got it.

I've not rode it yet but the VW was lucky to be putting out 50HP at the end, the V6 is somewhere between 160 and 200 HP and a lot more torque <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />oo .

Dad discovered that 90mph comes real fast.... LOL

That is sweet & cool that you & your dad did it.
Congrats.

Yeah, no kidding, throwing around that little bit of weight must be amazing. I'm jealous!

Dang Bors! That is mad tube bending skills, heck I can barely weld. My truck would weigh 1000lbs more if I had your capabilities.
