well I know the Killa Zilla blade pre orders are starting to charge so I am guessing the Scrap Swords aren't far behind <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crossfingers.gif" alt="" />

I am hoping to see one at the Rogers Show. That will help me make my mind up if for sure.

I have one on order but would much rather see a res-c handle. Any suggestions on how to retrofit one and where to get material.

I'd suggest giving the wrap handle a chance before making that decision. As Bruce noted, Res-C isn't going to be an option, but I see folks selling knives that they've re-handled on other forums (mainly the "Trading Post" sub-forum on "Forums of Ramanon"), so I suspect you could get someone to re-handle a Scrapizashi in wood or Micarta -- a rubber material might not be as easy to have done to factory specs, but I've never looked into it. A leather-wrap might also be an option to consider. If you could find a rubber cylinder of the right diameter, you might split it lengthwise, then pin and wrap it to make a handle.

Jim, "they" might be able to use that horse stall rubber matting that so many of the cutting competition folks are using for knife handles.
