The post-person left a delivery attempt notice from "busse". I haven't seen the charge on my card yet, but I think there's a green/tan Micarta 'Zilla 2 in my immediate future.

Lucky, better go grab that. I know my blades don't like being couped up, lol.

I think I shouldn't tried to get in on one of these from the show. the more I looked at the pictures and the more I thought about my idea for the knife design contest I realized this is pretty close.

congrats on the score and please post some pocs if you find some time.

I took a picture along with a couple other Blade scores, a B-11 and a Dog Father (I have several, but had traded one recently, and you can never have too many Dog Fathers). While not in line with the Blade theme, I also threw in a FFFBM for scale. The KZ2 may be scaled back from the TT-version, but is still a big heavy knife. However, the handle is quite comfortable and it feels comparable in weight to other heavy-duty working khuks. KZ2s are NM-finished and were Blade show priced at about what the CG NMFBM was released at ($497 vs $467), but they're bigger and heavier than a NMFBM. It's a keeper and I could see it being a future "grail knife" for those who missed them! I know you're going to love yours Jeff; I hope you receive it soon.

Congrats Jim!!!!
WOW!!! What a beast that thing is!!!!
I like the lines and handle of the KZII more than the TT edition.
I hope I can get one WHEN they are available from Busse Combat.
Amy-O may have mentioned that it would be soon.

man that is definitely a grail knife!!!! this is the first time that color combo has every been that attractive to me. that knife looks just plain awesome! nice score!

that handle alone just says "big boy". that handle style is unique to the KZ2 right? I don't think I have seen it on anything else...

Yep -- that handle is new for the KZ2. Here's Jerry's BladeForums post describing changes between the Test Team KZ and the KZ2: The New Killa Zilla!!!!!!!!!!... Sneak Peek) .... Much of his post focuses the the handle redesign.

Jim,
Congrats on the KZII. I can not believe how large this blade looks. I sure hope to see one sometime, it might be the best chopper when it is all said and done.
