Awesome sheaths, always did like the look of CF, the way it shines.
Too bad leather doesn't come in Carbon Fiber eh Rainwalker?

Too bad leather doesn't come in Carbon Fiber eh Rainwalker? The real stuff actually starts out flexible, I bet I could do something interesting with that, I think the real Carbon Fiber is pretty expensive though...

OH yeah, and the process is definitely not like molding Kydex. A friend of mine has a Carbon Fibre hood for his Camaro, 1998 SS model, and he had it custom made for just shy of a grand. I believe they make a mold of the shape of the hood, and then lay the carbon fibre into the mold and Epoxy it under pressure. If that would be feasible on a smaller scale, I'm sure you could do some awesome stuff as far as pants go. Even use CF liners with leather trim?
Might be onto something! More research is needed! YES, more research...

As Jeff said this carbon fiber pattern kydex. Real CF would be cost prohibitive. I have several Rainwalker sheaths as well and they are awesome. We are lucky to have such talent available to us.

Aw thanks everybody, I really appreciate the nice comments. Awesome pics my friend. Jeff maybe you could do a in-lay like Benchmade did years ago on their nimravus plastic sheath ? That would be cool, I have not seen one done in leather ?

Looks like the leather option is doable, I found this while doing a little research...

Suhweet! I'd love to get a sheath like that, especially with your handiwork. Keep me posted, I'll be in line for that!

I might go for a Leather/CF inlay also. Let us know if you come up with something Jeff.
