It is cool looking, but personally, it's got WAY to much belly for me.

DAN, WE NEED A SCRAPARANG! 3/16 inch thick blade, say about 12 inches long with a Reg Handle , or maybe even Mega Mudders! (depending on how they would actually feel while using without gloves), yeah I know, be we ALL have done it without gloves.

No doubt with the belly it has it should bite pretty deep with each swing. And there is the possibility that if I were to use it I would brow to like it more than I think I would.

Weather it is a Parang or not. I would love a hard use large fix blade chopper. I would love a dedicated shelter, firewood, path clearing\Machete use knife from Scrap Yard.

I have always had an affinity for those Machetes you see made in villages for actual survival in South American Jungles. Those blades they make to use everyday and use hard and most times their quality of life or just plain and simple weather they will have a life depends on the blade.

It would be awesome to have scrap yard make a blade like that. Scrap Yard knives to me have always been a hard use, dependable knife company. And its my belief they would excel at this.

Something like this would be good .... but bigger on the blade maybe ....

I also have a big Country Kamper, with the sheepsfoot style blade that is a nick knife. BUT the handle WILL give you blisters if you do much chopping and don't use gloves.
