True fact,(Just don't ask me how I know, I'll only lie to you). THEY can listen to your household conversations through your phone WHEN IT IS HUNG UP!

If I'm doing enough to worry about that, I'll just take the battery out when I'm not using it!

The only 22 (handgun) we've got is a Browning Buckmark. Been considering into looking at 22 revolvers but just haven't done it yet.

Actually I figured he was doing some super secret Moderator work. Either that or getting together with Dan on the new release. Watch him though, he will make a post about "A new Blade" and then take the pic right down making you think you were let in on something. All the while he is giving the Missouri Mule laugh at you for being so easy to fool.

Hey, I'm an easy target, what can I say. And It WAS funny!

Sorta super secret moderator stuff... Just doing what I can to keep the forum secure and clean!

Jeff, Patty and I just finished "arranging" our stash in the garage. Come to find out we got 4 cases (12 cans per case) of corn, 4 cases of green beans, several (maybe 9 cans) of fruit/mixed fruit and several cans of mixed veggies and other assorted stuff as well. We still need to get some more stuff though. Maybe some canned meat of some kind (can't eat spam all the time!)
deviled ham, white chicken, and gasp tuna. About the only time I would eat tuna is in a half to situation. That is a good reason to have a surppressed .22 lr pistol and rifle combo. Quiet meat getter.

I've got a Ruger MkII Slabside Target model, and a 10/22 rifle, along with about 2k rounds of ammo. Also have a .17 HMR and about 500 rounds for it too.
Seems like insomnia is starting to be a regular thing for the night shift. Not really sure it is an age thing though.
That could be part of it, partly due to things running through our minds, our brains just keep working when it should be turned off.

Yeah I have noticed that. That I MAY go to sleep in a reasonable time but then wake up and things are swirling around in my mind just like I never went to sleep.
Great minds never stop working......................well I read that in a Readers Digest once while sitting in an outhouse portapotty

You can hold your breath long enough to read?
Oh, I would LOVE something like that. On the food front, you forgot to add the Canned Herring, kippered and in tomato and basil sauce. Sardines, YUCK!

Don't have a phone hooked up, only reason we still have a landline phone is for our dialup internet. The answering machine is stuck in a drawer in my desk, everyone in the house has cell phones, and mine is usually turned off and on the charger when I'm not actually using it.

Wish my wife would get on board with me on this. She doesn't believe we'll ever use it so we don't need to buy it. I'm just the opposite, rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it!
Never hurts to have it around. We keep a small rotating stock of stuff but since we don't have kids it is something i pay a little less attention to. Now if I had kids, it would be a different story. If it hits the fan while I am at school---the truck will be leaving a lot heavier with canned goods than when I went there. No reason to let someone else have it, right!

Here is a hint.... We normally run up to about 3 months between grocery trips.
