As much as I'd rather see it released here first it is his property. Provided he acquired it legally then I see no problem with it. Once the money changes hands and all that....

I thought $120 was high myself, considering the price of the Scrapper 6's of equal size. Maybe they've decided they've been low balling so far? I've always felt they were, but don't tell Dan I said that. Dogfather was $140... Its in between size - 7" on the mojo right? I was expecting $100-110, but the recurve is a little extra work I'm sure, so $120 seems fair to me. I'd love to see a $99.95 price on it though!!

The other issue is how much the base price on them is. The seller has htem listed for 120.00. Is that an indiciation of what the release price will be? I would think that they would be under $100.

at 120 I will buy 1, or maybe two- at 100? i would buy 2-3
inbetween who knows...
Ebay... the world market.
Mojo guy may get his BuyItNow, but if people are waiting to snipe, and the blades are put in the store in the mean time... then no markup $$$-
oh well. Personally I have a love/hate relationship with ebay, but more love then hate at this point. I am always looking for hard to gets and finding them there... no diff. with blades i figure.
The DF prices are nuts, but i understand it. It is a very capeable blade and in general, Scrap Yard stuff is top notch and blows away similar priced items from other guys. Watch for other DF's to load up on ebay tonight inlight of the desirable prices that are currently up there...

I bought a very nice Marine Raider Bowie on ebay for $265. Good ones like that are $300 to $400 now. Its just the market. That's all. American as apple pie and tacos.

I recall him posting that he would be there. Plus he stated yesterday that he planned on having the mojo style knives debut at knob creek. He is in control of it, I just think something came up or got in the way. Thanks, CO. I stand corrected! So there's at least a possibility that Dan knew that SY Mojos were being sold at Knob Creek. If that's true, it's clear that the Store doesn't have a monopoly on Scrap Yard Knife sales. What isn't clear is why he'd sell Mojos at a knife show and not through the store. Dan also said yesterday that he had planned to announce online at the same time. Something mut of come up, but it wasn't on purpose!

Maybe they are not quite ready to go yet in quantity. Maybe he just had a few for the show?

Its not unusual for a business to introduce new products at an industry show. If Dan just had a few to sell that would be the ideal venue since it brings people to the booth to potentially purchase other items.
We've been spoiled by getting the first shot at the products up to now but that doesn't mean it will always be that way. Dan needs to run his business according to his own schedule and plans. None of us will drop dead tomorrow if we don't get a Mojo
Makes me think I should try to figure out a way to attend Blade...

No question this thought out, and we benefit! We are not having to pay up for big marketing budgets. How many things can be bought that have real integrity? Not a lot, these knives (SY, SR, BC) do, think Bill Gates is going to welcome you to the Microsoft forum? I got a nice welcome from Dan (and other forum members even after my ignorant intro), and I appreciate that. With big companies trying to spend huge $$ to sell stuff so many miss the point, good product backed with integrity.

What if I accidentally stab myself with the Dog Father while trying to open a beer with a knife without a bottle opener on it? Who will take care of my children? For the sake of the public health, and the children, Dan must release the Mojo now! Oh, the humanity!
