Its not unusual for a business to introduce new products at an industry show. If Dan just had a few to sell that would be the ideal venue since it brings people to the booth to potentially purchase other items.

We've been spoiled by getting the first shot at the products up to now but that doesn't mean it will always be that way. Dan needs to run his business according to his own schedule and plans.
