I don't personally have any experience with it, I shoot with Nikon gear. But unless she's shooting professionally, it'll probably be just fine.

I would really like to get her that 28?-135 IS lens, but man that thing is like 650! WAY out of our range, at least for the next several months. But I would give up almost anything to be able to get her one.

Nope, no pro shooting, just for her/us. But it is the only thing that she is REALLY into in a sorta big way. Takes it everywhere.
