My daughter's surgery is tomorrow, then assuming everything goes ok I'll be back in the mountains Wednesday taking more pics. Gotta make hay while the sun is shining LOL

We're not planning anything that I know of. We'll say a prayer for your daughters successful surgery and recovery. I wish we were in the Mountains. Patty has never seen any, Or the ocean either.

Seriously though, after seeing Alfredo's pictures I would LOVE to visit that area of the country. Don't get me wrong, the normal tourist traps would be nice to see as well, BUT I would rather see the areas Alfredo wanders around in.

There is a group of people that live here called the Waldensians. They left the Italian Alps and came to America in the 1800's to escape religious persecution. I've seen old pics of the area there, and talked to the older residents of the town and from all they told me I'd LOVE to visit there sometime. They also make wine like they did over there....very tasty!
