I could open a beer with it hooked or unhooked. I use my SS4 to open my beer all the time. It's all about the proper amount of leverage.

I could open a beer with one, but I want to see the "Bottle Opener" in action.

Horned, dangerous, and off my medication.

Same dillema here, I need the S6, talked the wife into the BATAC. She agreed sort of thinking that was "it". Still trying to sort that one out. She is capable of recognizing different knives too. I cannot pass this up though!

Yeah, the wife doesn't know about the cash. And if I spill the beans then the Jig is up and I have to cut her in on the deal.

Do you have an extra Dumpster Mutt to bribe her with?

No, she doesn't have much use for knive. After all she's got me. It's kind of hard to argue with her logic.

When I originall got the DM I thought I'd get a sheath and let it be her knife. But its grown on me and I don't think I'll part with it anytime soon. So, I guess the SOG SEAL pup is still hers.

She's not a shoe girl either. There really isn't much I could bribe her with.

My late wife would just take my guns and knives if she liked them. She took my Gerber Mk 1 and my Colt Gov't .380. She did give me back one the 1911s, though. Oh, she took the little Beretta .22 also. She was an auto over. Left all my revolvers alone.

i am stuck too, I like the lines of the guard and hook I would go with the hook if any at all more for the novlity of the hook, but the Scrapper 6 is a favorite of everybody in the yard and I have no need/justification for a "fighting knife" so I need a solid answer, Hook or S-6?
