I want to get a CZ 452 scout and put a can on it. I like my bolt action rifles. I have a 10/22 but its just doesn't have the soul of my bolt guns.

I've got a Savage bolt action .17 HMR that will shoot better than I can...but I keep coming back to my 10/22. Guess it's just what I got used to after carrying it for so many years. Had it since the late 80's or early 90's, can't remember. But I've killed many a squirrel with it, plus plenty of other assorted critters.

Hate to disappoint Randy, but no skunks were harmed by my rifle.

I had a Marlin model 60 growing up. I might have actually put more rounds through that growing up than an M-16 when I was in the Army.

I think that for me it would be a toss up. The semi would be nice for quicker follow up shots. But the bolt reputably has better accuracy, plus with a bolt you can catch your brass if need be for recycling. This would really be important for any kind of centerfire I would think. You know, an end of RATIONAL civilization.

I haven't had a bolt action 22 for long. But it has quickly become my favorite.

Good thing about a .22, don't worry about the brass, no reloading there.

aO just watched paranomal activity. I can't believe I watched the whole thing. I was sure It couldn't get worse. That movie blew.

Don't have many skunks out where I live, and the few that are around I typically don't bother. Now the groundhogs, on the other hand, decimated our garden this year. I killed a couple, but they tore up dad's squash and watermelons. Next year, groundhogs, next year!

I have probably had thta 10/22 for 15 years or so. Its collecting dust right now.

But what about selling the brass IF you had enough.
