I still have the original tires on that rig. It is not my ideal tire for winter out here.

Unless they're studded, or you're running chains, any tires are pretty much useless on ice, at least in my experience.

If you have them siped it makes a huge difference.

I have, in the past, driven for miles in the ice with the right side tires off the road to get enough traction to get home. I hate driving in ice, snow doesnt bother me too much as long as I've got 4wd

I have only owned one truck that wasn't a 4x4. I will only own 4x4's. I have no use for a 2wd unless its a car.

MB, I thought the same thing. We USUALLY get some snow here in the winter. Not usually to bad but I wanted a 4x4 anyway. We got the 2X Dodge. Then again it was a deal made in heaven for us. I can live with 2X4 and we do still have the Cherokee.

My next car will be a Subaru Outback, but don't plan on that anytime soon. I love my truck and not having payments.

Yeah we didn't want payments either, but $278 for what we got I reckon we can deal with it.
