Some of the Pics myketheknife has put up have had knives setting on one of these. His has a skull and crossbones design. You can get that design in different colors as well. I've been thinking about it as well myself.

No sweat. Glad to provide some actual information here instead of just hearing my head rattle.

I looked at one of those a while back on some website, thought about it but didn't pull the trigger. Of course, it wasn't cold as a welldiggers butt outside that night either

Well I just got finished inspecting Brownie (Ain't I original). There is a small, real small ding, gouge, almost like a rock ding. But it is obvious it came from the factory like this. Interesting. I said it was small, an eyelash or maybe two would fill it up so you see it is small. I figure I can take it to a fine hone and get it out in just a minute or two.

The fabric is way to breathable. They are perfect to keep the sand out of the holes in your head and not suppress your breathing. A warm scarf it ain't.

actually the ding wouldn't have any affect on the cutting ability at all. The ding is actually sharp, I figure maybe when they were sharpening it they tilted the blade to one side just ever so slightly. If you run a fingernail down the edge you can just barely feel it. Hey just goes to prove nothing is perfect! I actually find it kind of reassuring that it's there for some reason.

May not be as pretty, but I believe it'll cut better.
