I don't have a problem with a person that their second language is English, my problem is can they understand the orders as given. Anything less concerns me.

Todd, I agree with what you said. JJ, Don't know how to play golf. And the Grunt slam, didn't you say you were in the Army?

Huh? Never been in the Army. However, the entire Army isn't considered grunts. At least not in by the Corps or the Army. I am not sure what the other sissy-branches consider a grunt, but we only consider infantrymen to be grunts.

I think that I may be digging a hole that I didn't want to dig. It's so hard to get across, to be misunderstood when the only communications you have available is the written word. At least it is for me.

I guess what I should have said is that it bothers me when someone who is a citizen of SOME countries being a member of Our military services. But then again the Foreign Legion and others have been that way for years.

It all boils down to what Todd said, and that IS true. As for me, If I was a member in a different countries service and we got into it with the U.S. I am not sure where my loyalties would lay. TOUGH DECISION, In SOME cases.

I had recruiters beating down my door wanting me to enlist, and the Air Force recruiter had me talked into it, but couldn't make the weight and gave up.

Strangely enough I tested out for Navigator. When I told Patty that she just laughte. I turned the wrong way in Springfield Mo. once, the streets run North/South and East/West.

I hear you about the weight. I had to loose 14 pounds before I could join up, then fought a weight problem my entire 20 years.

We're a hodgepodge nation to begin with, so I don't have a problem with a person fighting for us that wasn't born here. BUT when you say that, also think to what is happening over in Afganistan, where US led troops are turning on their comrades. Also like what happened at Ft Hood last year.
