Mine was one of my very first knives that I bought myself. I've carried it a long time, but it's time for a new hunting knife.

I've got a few more to pick from now, and the one that suits me best is the Falkniven, at least for deer hunting. For small game, I've got a Uncle Henry trapper that I usually end up using. But the Izula or the 'Vore would be great for smaller game, and possibly deer too. I may use my Izula if I get one just to see how it works out.

I've wondered about the Izula. Seemed like a really small blade to me. But it's just a tad over 2 3/4. BUT it that to the plunge line or where the hollow part of the handle starts? THAT is what kept me from getting one.

Don't have a ruler handy or I'd tell you. I have mine on my belt right now, just about always carry it anymore. It's small but works hard as a big blade.

Looking on Ebay for old Uncle Henry folders, the older USA made ones are getting outrageous anymore.

Was pretty warm today. It must have been 60 something.

Ha ha, didn't get that warm here. I think we topped out at 50 or maybe 51.

I just looked at the thermometer and its still 50.

I thought it was warm walking into the house. I thought it was the vest.
