I hope that you and the General had a nice Thanksgiving. One that was enjoyable and relaxing filled with love and togetherness. patty and I had a good one. We had takeout Turkey and trimmings at home from the local Grocery store and it was really good. Patty said this is the first Thanksgiving in many years where she didn't feel stressed out. No cooking to get just right, no dishes.. just a relaxing enjoyable together day. Oh and she has not gotten sick now for the 3rd day nor dizzy or headachy. But it rained for two days and MAYBE that cleansed the air and that has been a lot of her problem. We will see shen she goes to the alergist next week.

I think we may hit up a couple flea markets and Patty wants me to (shudder) brave walmart to get her some more red christmas tree lights. Don't think it will be to bad though. We will go to a Supercenter in the largest town here in our county, about 8300 people.

I was tempted to go to Wal-Mart for one of those $198.00 laptop computers in the 5 - 11 a.m. sale, but the store probably only received 5 to sell, so I will stay home. We have been angered by the "limited number per store" unavailability before! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> The frustration isn't worth the trip. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

SALES GIMMICK! problem is you got to read the really really fine print to see the "limited availability" or they hide it in a bunch of blah blah blah stuff.

Our nearest Wal-Mart is in Lamar, population of about 4600. It is one of the smallest SuperCenters and receives very few of the sales leaders. I kind of feel sorry for the employees working today, having to deal with the angry and frustrated shoppers. It's not their fault, and the situation drives them CRAZY! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

Oh hey, I was reading my Tactical Knives mag last night here and they usually have a section by The Gunny. yup, it's called Gunny Back Talk. Anyway, he was talking about a really nice custom (has a picture0 he got at the A.G. Russell show. It's an ivory handled Damascus bladed "persian look" hunter.
