I keep reading on various sites where people are talking about recieving their battle mistresses. They aren't listed on their site anywhere and I was wondering if you have to call them to special order one.

Anybody know?

Of course I'm waiting on the DFLE to come out before I order anything else.

They've come and gone, you'll have to buy second hand..

There seems to be a genetic predisposition among the Busse clan to maintain as much mystery in how to order their knives as possible. You must prove yourself worthy. Check the Busse Combat Knives website and the company store website and you will find all the models that are currently for sale. Good luck. The FBMs are still listed at the company store, but they do not show up on the order page, so they must be sold out.

the FBM (Fusion Battle Mistress) has been discontinued by Busse Combat since ~February.

They pop up every now and then.. just keep checking.. either somebody's playing cart games with them.. or they're being stocked in random small quantities.
The 2 you'll (eventually) see are:

$422 tan magnum (thicker) width scales
$442 snakeskin standard (thinner) width scales

Both have Muddy color crinkle coat blades (which was never an option at Busse Combat)
Once these disappear from the BCS.. chances are you'll Never be able to buy them "New" from the factory any more..

i recall the busse faq stating that any model is re-released every three years. think we may see another redesign of the battle mistress next time? would that be the forth or fifth generation? i don't think the basics count.

Company Store. It is the only way to go now.

If you go to "that auction site" and type the words Busse Combat in the search bar and scroll down to the stores listing for Alaska Knife, you will find that which you seek.

Alaska Knife is a Busse Combat dealer and you can buy for retail.
