You and the General getting visitors for Christmas or going to visit family somewhere else?

The General is all tucked-up and cozy, and I'm fairly awake due to an earlier nap.
Well, I am now finding that .45 L/C ammo is getting scarce right now, with several mail-order companies back-ordered until March! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> I'm glad that I have some now, and more due this coming week. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Looks like we are going to enjoy a nice quiet Christmas at home this year. We are actually glad to NOT be travelling anywhere! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Do you know anyone locally that handloads? You would need to shoot it quite a lot though to justify buying the dies and supplies, primers, brass.....etc. But reloading can be fun and relaxing too.

I hear you. Patty said that this past Thanksgiving was the most relaxing one she has had in years. Dinner from the store, "plates" went into the trash, end of cleanup!

I do a little reloading occasionally, but I don't have the dies for .45 L/C. Fortunately, my neighbor down the road does! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> As I collect brass from practicing I will probably reload some, though it's not much cheaper than buying loaded ammo if you do your shopping! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

True about the price IF you shop around. But just look at all the Good neighbor points you will get, specially if you leave him a little something for the use of his gear! That's what I did to my Bud in Idaho. I came out JUST FINE.

He might be on. I have noticed that a lot of times folks will sign on and just not sign off. I have started doing that myself a lot during the day. I'll go home, sign on and just be in and out on the computer throughout the day.

We help each other quite often. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> He is the one who rents pasture from me and is a good guy. I have even replaced snaps on his vest and on his son's jeans a few times, and helped him work his cattle or round up a cow or two who got through some old fences. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />

Ok, I remember you talking about a neighbor that rented some ground from you. It's NICE to have folks like that surrounding you. Makes things a lot easier and more enjoyable.
