My editors impressed me today.
I got word about a military dependent who was killed by a train in Kaiserslautern this morning.
My editors were chomping at the bit for me to get the details. When I did, I found it was a suicide and I said I would rather us not print anything on it, but I was sure the were going to ask me to write a story anyway.
Sam, my boss, said of course we aren't going to print that.
I was shocked and pleased.

I'm making a big pot of chili so I will again be off and on here. I can't find any garbonzo beans though! We've got canned corned beef (it adds texture) and everything else I need. Guess the only beans will have to be the regular ones, oh and a Can of ro-tel! Now to let it simmer (Once I get it all mixed together with the mushrooms and ground beef) for about an hour.
