v Whoohoo!! I thought it would never happen, but my county in California has started issuing CCW permits. We have gone form a "May issue" to a "Shall issue" stance in the last few months. The Sheriff said if he has to cut deputies he thinks people should be armed so they can be responsible for their own safety. I'll have to sign up after I get my truck fixed. Where are you? I know in Alameda Co. They try to refuse retired FBI agents ccw <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif" alt="" /> Oh boy...what a memory restart. I have no idea where Alameda Co. is, but I remember Alameda the street. I used to work at AMAT in Santa Clara...lived in Campbell. Are you in that general vicinity Ireash? Ya I live about 25 NE of there. I wish they would start issuing them here in this county.

I'm in Sacramento county. Placer county has been issuing for awhile now, Sacramento has just relaxed the process. It's kinda amazing.

I am so happy Missouri Has a CCW now. I don't have one, but in my home county I don't need one cause of where I work. I mean, who's gonna hastle me for carrying one back and forth to work under a jacket. In Missouri now you can carry concealed in your vehicle WITHOUT a permit as long as it's NOT on your person.

Skunk, I remember when OK got our CCW and MO did not. IIRC, from what I was told by guys down around Springfield it was St. Louis and Kansas City's fault. I do like visiting MO better now.

I hope everyone is staying warm and dry today. We are lucky here in OK with a high of 58 forcasted. We are missing out on the bad weather. Kinda nice not making the news right now due to weather.

I'm just sitting here at work tonight, watching a little television and waiting on the storm to hit after midnight. Hopefully it'll be snow and no ice, but it'll probably be more ice than anything
