This was just after a quick search, but I'm under the impression that its been considered fact for years: http://www2.potsdam.edu/hansondj/AlcoholAndHealth.htmlI probably shouldn't start any conversation about religion, but I must admit that I view any kind of organization that tells you what you can eat, drink or wear with some kind of suspicion. Probably comes from growing up in a country that has been slowly invaded by Islam over the years.

I view any kind of organization that tells you what you can eat, drink or wear with some kind of suspicion. I'm not a very religious person anymore. I used to go to church all the time, but just don't share some beliefs (such as NO alcohol, NO music of certain kinds, etc.) I fully agree with being suspicious of anyone trying to tell you what you can and can't do, as long as it's legal it's none of their business.

People obviously don't know the health benefits of alcohol (in moderation).. A glass of red wine or a beer a day keeps the doctor away. City people are wussies, theres half an inch of snow on the ground and the city is gridlocked, still at work just waiting for everything to clear up. They'd have school closed here for two days for an inch of snow. And we live out in the coutry!

We dodged a bullet here last night, supposed to get a lot of sleet and about an inch of snow, only ended up with a little sleet. Roads were a mess this morning, bad enough they called off school for the day.
