Hey everybody! any suggestions for the best place (lowest price) to pick up a used gun,at a pawnshop, gun store, or gun show?

It depends on your area. Some pawn shops have gunsmiths to check out their guns and make sure they are in working order. Some don't. Same with warranties. But I have gotten some bargains at pawn shops. I prefer to purchase from my local gun dealers. I know them. They know me. All three local shops I deal with have good used guns and do trade-ins. As for price, my local dealers are competitive with the gun shows. And if I have a problem with one of them, I can take it right back to the shop and deal face to face. But then, I live in a small town and all the gun people know each other.

I like the classifieds on the online forums, they usually self-police fairly well and the prices aren't bad. Only downside is that you can't handle before you buy.

Pawnshops here are fairly easy to work with, especially on used guns. Gunshows are my least favorite way to buy stuff, but for really obscure items may be the only place.
