No idea. Haven't seen any hints or anything, so I'm just waiting. Patiently.

From what I've seen, some of them over there think it'll be a chopper. I'm thinking something different. Maybe a Khukri or something like that.

Don't get me wrong, I like large knives. I believe that a large knife is BEST for "Out there" if you can only have one. Ideally a large blade (DF perhaps) and a smaller one 3 1/2 to 4 inches blade length AND one of 5-5 1/2 inches. Three blades and a diamond hone to keep 'em all working!

I like a 5 inch or so for all around. Got my S5 on my hip as we speak. But I'd rather carry my Izula for general purpose and a bigger knife for "whatever"

But the S5 is a good compromise between the two.

IF it could only be two, I MIGHT opt for a SOD and the Muppy. But I would take a good hard at the DF instead of the SOD and the DF might win over depending upon what I realistically thought I would be doing with them.

IF a WARM shelter wasn't necesary probably the SOD. If Warmth and or something needed to last for a while, then probably the DF.

If I had one, then it would be a great EDC. But since I don't, I like my S5. The Weinerdog wouldn't be bad, but I don't like that blade for all around use.

I think the SOD may be a better all around knife than the DF. For chopping, the DF, hands down. But the SOD is still pretty good at chopping and better at most everything else.

Yup, I think the SOD is a better all around blade as well. Enough length and heft to be a chopper and also better as smaller tasks because of the slightly shorter blade.

IF I had to get rid of one of them (DF or SOD) it would be the DF I am afraid.

I love the heft of the DF, but the SOD is ALMOST as nice in the hand. It would be a hard choice.
