Personally I think that is the perfect size. Long enough for a good sight radius and barrel length for powder burn and good balance.

I like it, not as big as a full size, and not to short like the compact 3 in models, just perfect

Lion steel, I have a weakness for tank built cutlery, very well made, I wanted something outside of the "big knife" shape for chopping and brush clearing, this sucker delivers

I was going to get a Bark river golok one time I thought until I found out it only had an 11 inch blade. Heck My my DF is almost that long and is a WAY better Chopper, which is what I was looking for. Glad I went With Dan! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbup.gif" alt="" />
