You're right Randy. I need to print that out and stick it on my wall. I'm the same way with my son, very over-protective. And I think that's a lot of his problem, that I've insulated him from the real world for too long. Todd, THAT is a problem we as parents have. Trying to keep our kids save from EVERYTHING! I guess we need to let them get hurt some, but it's rough and how much "some" is to much?

My first wife left when the kids were 8 and 6. I pretty much raised them myself, and was mom and dad both to them for years. But at some point you have to get strict and I never was one to be real strict. Now it's too late, and my son doesn't know how to behave like a 16 year old should.

There ARE some constants, don't stick you finger on a hot stove, you'll get burned...etc. But each set of parents/children are different. Yes, that color would have been rather well... not that stylish!
I had thought about the green one but decided on the tan. It'll match my SOD.

I've got a tan DF and a Blk/Tanker Gry SOD. I'm not really sold on the tan, but I suppose it's better than no DF!
