You mentioned vodka. I have never been much on vodka. The different types, tastes, etc never appealed to me. About the only ones that I tried and could handle was Absolute and Gray Goose. To me, moonshine tastes as good as vodka.

I also had "Yak" once, covas..something or other. Didn't like it either.

My shine is from the "family recipe" that goes a ways back. I have some "cousins" that still make it LOL.

Actually I've had moonshine about a half dozen times. But the quart a friend brought me back from Tennessee was the best. This would have been in oh 1984.

Tequila is something I drank all the time before I started on my quest of whiskey. Tequila like all others is dependent on the quality of the aguvi(sp) plants. Patron is my favorite tequila followed by Cuervo 1800.

Mag, being Greek have you ever tried Ouzo? A buddy from jr high and hs was from Greece and he would bring Ouzo home at the end of summer break--along with all kinds of Soviet materials. The Soviet Union collapsed after we were in hs so we were getting some neat stuff from the mother land.
