I operate under the same premise, especially when deer hunting (that's why i hunt for spikes!). However, I will say...that if a large hog comes out with smaller ones...they die first. Mainly because they breed so quickly, and although eating is nice, our goal is eradication since they tear up the land. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Todd, yup it WOULD be exciting. Food for thought, but the kind of food I don't think I want! Now with a REAL blade, I MIGHT consider it but I haven't flipped a hog over by the back legs in over 40 years!

About 30 years ago, a bunch of guys turned loose pigs to hunt. Their unauthorized stocking program worked well, but the state of NC was not appreciative. LOL. Several people got fined pretty heavily for that.

Yep, hogs are VERY destructive. I'd kill any one I see. We used to see them in our front yard, but I think they've moved back into the back country again. Nothing back there to bother them.

I keep a 30.06 beside the door just in case they show up again. Well, pigs or anything else that shouldn't be in the yard.

Much the same with MINGO, they've MOSTLY moved back to the part that is only open 4 months out of the year. But you do see them occassionally on the regular part of the auto route.

When we moved here 5 years ago, for the first 6 month or so there were pigs in the yard every day. Tore my new yard up something awful. But I could never see them, always at night.
Haven't seen them in several years, now we've got a flock of wild turkeys that come through every morning. Plus the 15-20 deer that run on our place and stay pretty close. I've got a salt block in the edge of the yard for them.

Just checked my email, got my shipping notice for my Rodent Solution! Now have to find the $$$ to pay for it LOL. May have to wait till payday next week.
