I should have said, don't do anything hasty no matter what your decision is.

I was just checking out the flaslight you said you carried and decided to see if Terralux made a similar product. I have had a Mag Solitaire on my keychain for nearly a decade and think it is time to upgrade so I won't have to replace bulbs.

$15.00! WOW. Yeah my maratech is the regular black one with three light levels. Works really well for me. The dim mode is the one that I use around the house most of the time when I'm getting ready for work. The other two levels work really well even in daylight as long as you're looking into dark places. I would like to have the SS AAA light and will probably wind up getting it one of these days.

Yeah, you never can tell. Good lights DON'T have to be pricy to be good.

My first small GOOD led light was the ARC AAA then the AA. They're good lights but I found myself wanting a little more brightness at times. The Maratech gives me that at a level I can deal with.

At $5 a pop with a clip w/ ball joint, head band and a free battery. This thing is right up my cheapskate alley. I just ordered three and a 4 pack of Eneloop rechargeables.

I did some research over on candlepower forums. They all seemed to have respect for the Terralux lights. A lot of the guys said that is what they use on a daily basis so they don't scratch up their expensive ones. I don't understand collecting flashlight, but to each his own.
