I know that they are tearing up Mingo something bad. But you can't hunt there so they just keep on keepin on unless or until they wander off the refuge, then it's OPEN SEASON!

Check with the DOW if its bad they might open up a predation hunt.

I should check with the family and see if they have become a problem on the farm. That would be a nice trip to visit and take care of some problem critters.

I suprised a herd of pigs one morning while I was trout fishing. They chased me up on top of some big rocks and kept me treed for about an hour before they lost interest. I was in the state park, so no gun, but it wouldn't have mattered. I stopped counting at 20....

Speaking about hogs, them being dangerous and all, I've started stocking my Push pack. Got my Rat Model 1 (original) clipped to it. got some germ-x wipes, bandaids(vairety pack) some kind of stuff called mercuroclear antiseptic, "The safe alternative to iodine) (couldn't find any Iodine ) a space blanket a small container (31/2X3X1/2, some moleskin and a tube of triple antibiotic ointment. Oh yeah and some 2x2 gauze pads. Can you think of anything else I need for just a simple easy 1-5 mile leisurely walk?

Oh and I have some Ibuprofen tabs as well.

They DO open up a section one weekend every fall for muzzle loader Deer hunting, But there is a bigger section open all season long for Bow hunting.
