Hello everyone. CO, I went shooting today and it was in the 50's and I still have not warmed up. You guys and motorcycles kill me when it is cold.

I fell in love today. A buddy let me shoot his .275 H&H Mag and the 450/400. I can say this, they recoil less than my Marlin Guide Gun in 45-70 gov't. In the pic you will notice a standard business card for a size comparison of the rd.

Supposed to say .375 H&H Mag. A better pic of the cartridge. I thought I wanted a Ruger Number One, but this Safari Ruger might be what I save for.
BTW, hit the 12 gong at 300 and 400 no problem.

Also knocked the 400 yd gong off the chain with a N0 4 Mk I/II open sight. That was a great feeling. Rifle was built by Longbranch of Canada, used in WWII somewhere, and ended up in South African custody. I love that rifle with Greek non-corrosive ammo.

Went down in flames, but it was a good game. They were tied with about 3 minutes left, but Kentucky pulled it out in the end.

Evening Jeff. Man, that .375 H&H is a big round.

I used to ride when it was in the 50's. Dress right and its no bog deal. Guess its the same for even colder weather riding.

Hate to hear your team did not fare well in the outcome.

Todd, that is a big round. I shot rds that were like '06 levels to African game rds. I fell in love, I could see it being a one rifle on Earth rd since it is so versatile.
