Things are OK, found out I may get a little something back on taxes. Blade may not be out of the question! That sounds good.

The General is doing pretty good, and we are both getting caught up with a little well-deserved rest. We will start some seeds tomorrow, and I plan on working with my new pack. I want to have individual pouches designated for first-aid, fire, water, and snacks. What are you using for the individual packs? There is a plastic bag site that has all kinds of stuff, even colored bags that I have thought about using--color coded but not cheap. Also thinking about smaller pencil bags like students use for smaller things like fire starting, etc.

Hey Jeff, drugs messing you up again I see.
I am using a tin about half again as large as an Altoids tin for my fire kit. Got a Bic lighter, tender (lint and jute string and fat wood) in it. just the right size for my 511 bag. Got all my meds in the two top flap pockets. On one side pouch I have an led flashlight and on the upper part of the pack, where the strap attaches I have a rescue whistle and a Benchmade mini pica knife. Inside I have my original RAT model 1 folder, 8x12 simmons monocular a pad of post it notes and a pen. I wish this think had flat bottoms on the two end pockets so the water bottles/cups wouldn't have a tendency to ride up from the bottom.

Hey Randy. Meds suck, but what can one do?
Your pack is coming along. I was on that amazon site earlier and saw a few things at good prices that I would like to get but don't know how that site works. I see some things ship from amazon and others from a direct ship--kinda leary of stuff I am not sure about. I always hear people saying they got so and so from there. Ever used them?

So how is your night been going? Any interesting stuff? I have a movie on called Ride with the Devil. It is about Bushwhackers in the Civil War (MO).

Amazon is where I got my SS Water bottles and the cups.
From what I can tell. You pay amazon and it either ships directly from them or one of their "suppliers". Like my order. The Water bottles came from one source and the cups from another. Even though they came from different places, my order qualified for free shipping. I used direct pay, gave my checking account info and they charged direct. Just like the way paypal works.

Nah, been slow tonight. Never heard of that move. BUT I think there were some bloodthirsty folks that operated out of Missouri though.

Cool deal on the amazon deal. I might give it a try. Are they fast on shipping?

MO, AR, KS, and IT (Indian Territory) had a unique situation during the Civil War. Many men who normally would have sided with the Union were forced by the Unions actions to join the elements of Bloody Bart, etc. I can not judge as I was not there but I can see why many did Bushwhack.
