Doc,
Have you taken the scouts out to look for artifacts? Yes.. mostly the cub scouts though.. several times... the older boys look for them while we camp or hike..but because of the antiquities laws, we only go out looking for "fossils".. artifacts are almost verboten unless on private land.. you can dig for fossils but not artifacts
