HAha not older like old <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Even if you guys are all older than me. I would still go as far as saying I would consider you friends. Even if we have never met. Which needs to change someday in the future. i really do hope so. it would be great to get together.

True story.
February a year ago I took out little dog out to potty. We walked around the house and heard something making a racket in leaves piled there. She made a bee line for it and I heard MORE noise, and I smelled a skunk (yes, he or one of his kin paid the price!) Well I grabbed her up and took a deep whiff. NOTHING. I thought Great, we got by that one. We went back into the house (at about 0200) and all was well, or so I thought.
Now Penny sleeps in bed with us. About 0400 my wife wakes up and starts complaining about a bad smell (my son in law was here for a few days and he was doing the same thing). Along about 0430 or so they decided we needed to vacate the house because it MUST be gas. I still couldn't smell anyhing.
Took Penny out to the Jeep and went back in for something. When Patty and I came back out and opened the door, we BOTH then knew what it was.
Seems that the smell was so overpowering it burned out my sniffer for a while and I couldn't smell it.
We burned about 100 scented candles all over the house, while washing ALL the clothing and anything material in the house.
Do you now how much soot that many candles will leave on your ceiling and walls when you burn them for about three days. Needless to say we had to wash every wall, appliance and the ceiling.
It was a mess. Now you know ANOTHER reason I don't like skunks.

Now that you mention it I have a skunk story you new guy haven't heard, wanna hear it?
Oh and Steeley, depends on how old you are. Mister Overkill isn't all that old either. Im 18. Funny thing is I only have one friend my age all my others are in their 20's. I tend to gravitate to hanging with older people. twenty years your senior my friend Twenty six years here

My Yellow Lab got sprayed by a skunk once. It was one of the worst smells evar!

"dog can't smell his own scent".. most appropriate... old wives tale said they used to use tomato juice to bath in to help alleviate the smell... I think just a trip to the capital might overpower it... stinks up thee
