I heard you say that before. Patty and I don't use sauce at all, she doesn't like it and it doesn't matter to much to me. Grilled taste is good, but we do use dry dry rubbs we just throw together from what we happen to have in the cabinet.

Oh speaking of surveying, you ever check out the Machetes by P.J. Tomes? Hand made and the "Pros" just rant and rave about them.

You can do it.
What's the hardest survey you've ever done? hammering in hubs (stakes) for line and grade when building curb in a subdivision... the chopping line for miles in the woods and swamps is way more fun and easier physically to me

We used that dressing on Pork chops before and yeah, it ain't bad. I cook with olive oil quite a bit.
I got a killer deal on a set of Calphalon cook ware last summer. Three skillets, chicken fryer with lid, 8 qt stock pot with lid, saute pan with lid, two qt and 1 qt pans with lids for $100.00! Yup they were new. Got them at an indoor flea market we go to a lot. There was only one set and they were in a semi load of stuff the flea market (connie) bought. Stainless steel, just heat your pans first and the sticking isn't a problem long as you don't cook with to much heat. I LIKEM!

Hand made and the "Pros" just rant and rave about them. no.. we pros around here used to use original collins until we couldn't get them anymore... these days my men prefer martindale.. we use 24" .. some guys like the wood handle others the plastic... tramontia (sp) are ok.. but are cheaply made... the martindales last longer and are more durable... expensive machetes ( custom) are no better for day in day out line chopping... at least from a price/performance aspect.. i have collins that have chopped more miles than some peoples cars have driven (gratuitous exaggeration) .. still in great shape...
