There are a bunch of nice folks here. And when someone asks for prayers or well wishes for a problem and everybody starts sending them, you can tell folks ARE sincere. There's still some folks that have been here longer that are Just as nice but they don't post as much as they used to. There's this one guy out in central Washington state we call Kmar that is DEADLY on coyotes. He has permission to get them on an Indian reservation. We've got several members from the PNW and Canada as well, mostly the British Columbia area. Then we have a VERY distant relative of Vlad the impaler. and guys from Italy, Switzerland and a few other European countries. We truly ARE an International family.

I found the yard when I started a thread at BF that was asking about an American Made Fighting knife. Someone suggested the scrapper 6 if I remember right. I looked at the knives thought meh ( Stupid me ) The Muk was a standout right away though I do remember that. I remember later having some extra money and wanting a knife so I went to buy a Muk. Couldn't didn't understand the yard then. Then I think I started hearing great reviews about them and got really intrigued. Tried to join here. Twice it wouldn't let me said I was a spammer <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />. Contacted the web master. Got a Rodent Solution and then wanted Sykco stuff. The rest is history. Wow that was a long post. Hi steeley I thought you went for a stroll. That's cool it is addicting.
I found this place after getting into busses. I agree the population here seems to be real good folk
even though it was busses that brought me to the Busse trinity, my first bussekin knife was a SW RMD because I wanted to see and feel what the canvas micarta looked like for the Busses I was considering at.

Well I like my WD (If you haven't you MUST check out the Weiner Dog thread sometime),Dan has a sense of humor, otherwise he would NEVER have named the knife the Weiner Dog! And I have an S5 CG but my favorite for all around use right now is my Mud Puppy (Muppy) that someone and I STILL don't know bought and had sent to me because it is an LE with my JYD number on it. One thing, If two folks have similar knives or challenge coins and one is a certain Junk Yard Dogs number it is usually offered to them in trade or the coin is sometimes just given to them. A dog from BC GAVE me his challenge coin because it had my JYD number on it. Another dog that had HIS JYD number gave him his.
