Tonight is the first offical meeting of the BCAA, for those of you new here tonight, that is the Bowie & Chopper Aholic Association.

Hi, my name is Jason and I am addicted to Bowies.......
I would just like to add that it would be great to see the new bone in the Yard be the Bowie.

Hello Jason, my name is Paul. I'm a recovering bowie-aholic clean for about a year now... But I think that's going to change soon!

Hello Jason, my name is Tom. I have been addicted to Bowie knives ever since I first watched Jim Bowie on television so many years ago as a youngster. I have no plans for recovery, and can hardly wait for Scrap Yard to release theirs!

TBAUGH7 the first step is admitting you have a problem.......denial is a stinky cologne. Awsome picture by the way! The only thing missing from it is a Scrap Yard Bowie!
I will include a picture of my Choppers and Bowies in the next meeting, but currently I have
2 RD9s
1 Rat Daddy
4 Battle Rats
1 Rat Weiler
1 Camp Tramp

I am hoping to add some large Scrappers to this AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!! I don't see my addiction as a problem, but more as an outlet to pent up frustrations......choppers are therapeutic.

Thanks, I got a matching set. Allot of my friends say it ugly but its one knife thats easy to find when you drop it or stick it in a tree while working.

Nice selection, the orange handle makes perfect sense for a wilderness blade but is a little hard on the eye! I make do with bright colour climbing cord lanyards, but I like your style!

I agree with you Paul on both points, but can appreciate the ease of location with the orange handles. It's like shooting arrows in the woods - camo ones look cool but get lost, while brightly colored ones look flashy but can be retrieved. Falling leaves and debris can sure hide a black handled knife quickly.

I larned quickly when I lost one knife, aesthetics is cool but functionality is another. I would rather have a great knife that is hot pink than to have the same knife in camo. when you set it down and can find it quickly because its a ugly pink knife is more important than to have a camo. one that looks cool.
