on bf they kept complaining about the outcast chipping, i never had that problem with mine.
I chopped with my original one but haven't done it with my new one.
I think they are a real bargain for the price

Sar, the reg/dereg is the same knife. the de reg has the top guard milled away. 7.5 inch blade. reg 6.5 has a 6.5 inch blade.

To clarify the Reg/dereg saber ground or flat ground TT wad 7.5, the 6.5 Reg was a Gaza blade that showed up after the sales of the mil Reg. It, besides smaller, was more of a leaf shape blade IIRC.

As much as I like the TT Reg I think a shorter version like the 6.5 is a little more my type of knife. I have plans to get a green 6.5 whenever I can.
