I'd kill for a basket of crawdads and a cup of hot butter about now.... been about 25 to 30 years since my last crayfish feed <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif" alt="" />

My brother in law is already scouting the best places to get some mud bugs.
I told him to get 100 or so pounds for the first weekend I am in town. Through some taters, onions, corn on the cob and a ton of spice into the pot with those critters and you got a party started.

Most of the time I like crab and such without better as well, or just a touch maybe. The butter seems to mask the taste some to me.

Behind my sister's house we run crab traps, and on a good night, we can get 2 or 3 dozen blue crabs. We will definitely be running the traps when I get home. We just through them in with the crawfish.

growing up we could get fresh crab, clams, oysters, welks and shrimp, and we would have big family get togethers and pig out
