umm, not that i'm pulling for it, but doesn't that mean you will indeed do it again?

all you infi gluttons need to get to the post office with jw blue. not makin any promises but i don't think it'll hurt.

Actually magnum i'm fairly onboard with what you're getting at. I was leaning towards nitrogen/precipitation hardening with INFI, on the theoretical level as well. But if INFI has the same amount of Nitrogen as S30v I guess that doesn't make a whole bunch of sense.

In any case, INFI is awesome, [censored] near unbreakable stuff and keeps a good edge to boot.

hmm...nitrogen hardening a knife with nitrogen in it. i'll have to read that again when i wake up. it's a quarter past 4am on my end.

i guess i was thinking of H1, in the way that it hardens with nitrogen rather than carbon. Maybe a little bit of that going on in INFI.

That would explain some of the corrosion resistance.

Fallkniven has NEVER experimented with INFI in their own blades. . . They have NEVER had access to it. . . NOBODY used INFI before Busse Combat because we are the ones who developed it!. . . It's just that simple.

In order for anyone to have used it in their own blades they would have had to purchase the raw stock from Busse Combat and that NEVER happened with Fallkniven. . .
