Biggest thing right now is her relationship with my kids. She can't stand them, and I can't be with someone that doesn't want my kids around. Even though they are almost grown, they'll always be around in some fashion.

Good morning. On a happy note; I have changed my diet from a lean one to a carb rich one to load up for the fitness test I have tomorrow at 0700. High fruit diets really make things regular. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

It is the source of an unfortunate family rift.

That's tough for both of you. Why can't folks, even if they don't "Get along" at least be civil to one another. I think there maybe some jealousy here of prior lives, lives before the present spouse.

It's not like I waited till she said "I do" and then popped them out of my hip pockets. But it's been a real source of friction for a couple years. IF I didn't have kids, we'd get along fine. But I do, and that ain't gonna change.
