Sorry to worry ya but it was after midnight when we got back and had to get up early to go get some lab work one this morning.
We got through it safe and sound as far as I know. Just rain an some wind but nothing really bad. We were wondering though, it looked bad on the radar. We hope no one else has been hurt or stuff damaged.
Supposed to have more storms throughout today and all this week but so far I don't think any of them are supposed to be like the one that hit Joplin.
We really appreciate the concern and hope that ALL of you stay from what ever threat is prevalent in your areas.

I hate 'nados but they are part of life here, just like earthquakes in CA, floods on the Mississippi River, blizzards in the mountains and up north. Hell, Hawaii has to worry about being washed off the face of the Earth.

Blizzards are cake. With a little preparation and shovel you will be fine. The other stuff well. Not much you can do against a tornado except head for the cellar and pray

Walked through the Mountains of New Mexico for 10 days, WONDERFUL! Really where were you at? Sorry, I missed this. Philmont Scout Ranch area of Cimaron New Mexico. WAY back in 1968, when I was 14!

Well we have a dispatchers meeting in about a half hour, gotta hit the road. I'll be back on later. This latest storm MIGHT miss us. I THINK it will go JUST north of us.
